The Earth resonates with an electromagnetic frequency of approximately 7.83 Hz – Schumann resonances (SR), which falls within the range of (alpha) human brainwaves. What is EMR (ElectroMagnetic Radiation)?

Professor Buteyko developed what is called the Control Pause, and it only takes a few minutes, and the only equipment you need is a watch with a second’s hand. The idea is based on the fact that our breathing is driven by the Respiratory Centre, located in the Medulla Oblongata part of the brain; which provides the involuntary stimulus to breathe, due to its sensitivity to carbon dioxide.

By measuring the time it takes for it to respond to the accumulation of carbon dioxide, (due to a breath hold), will tell us the amount a person ventilates on average per minute.

Serves 4

  • 4 medium zucchini
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, sliced in half
  • 3-4 cloves garlic
  • 2 avocados
  • 1/4 cup cold pressed olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • pinch Himalayan salt and fresh cracked pepper

Instructions:

1. Spiralize the zucchini. Set aside in a colander to drain excess liquid)

2. Start food processor running. Drop cloves of garlic in, one at a time.

3. Add avocado, olive oil, pine nuts and lemon juice. Pulse until blended.

4. Season to taste with salt and pepper, then toss with the zucchini noodles and tomatoes.

Pea & Asparagus Quinoa

Ingredients:

1 cup quinoa

2 cups water

1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil

1/2 cup finely chopped red onion

1/2 pound (about 1/2 bunch) asparagus, woody ends snapped off and discarded, spears cut into 1-inch pieces

2 cloves garlic, finely chopped

1 cup fresh peas or frozen petite peas, thawed

1 cup thinly sliced baby spinach leaves

Sea salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste

Instructions:

Rinse quinoa under cold running water and drain. Combine water and quinoa in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer, cover and cook until quinoa is tender and all the water is absorbed, 15 to 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and asparagus. Cook, stirring often, until asparagus is tender and bright green, 5 to 7 minutes. Add garlic and peas and continue cooking for another minute. Stir in cooked quinoa. Add the spinach and stir until it wilts, 3 to 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and serve immediately.

Butter Beans in Tomato Sauce (Greek Style)

Ingredients: 

1 medium onion, sliced

3 chopped tomatoes

1/2 teaspoon mild paprika powder

salt and pepper to taste

1 cup of cooked butter beans

Instructions:

  1. In a frying pan soften the onion in olive oil for 5 minutes.
  2. Add the tomatoes and let simmer on low heat for 15 minutes, while adding the spices,  salt and pepper.
  3. Add the tin of butter beans. Let simmer for another 20 minutes.
